LOFT Player development

LOFT is a weekly program that empowers youth and families through quality coaching and Bible lessons. "LOFT" is an acronym for "least of these", which is a term used by Jesus in Matthew 25:

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:44-45)

coaches community group

Community group meetings...

  • Provide support for coaches in their sports training techniques by allowing for space to talk about practical issues, and learning from one another.
  • Give opportunities for improving coaching, facilitation and administrative skills.
  • Go deeper in Bible, faith, coaching techniques and building relationships.
  • Show how the Bible is practical and relevant in life and coaching.

The desired outcome is for coaches to grow spiritually as they study God’s Word in a peer environment. Coaches will learn to share with their families, fellow coaches and players. The training will provide a variety of different tools for coaches to use both on and off of the field.
